Lipstik ini berpigmen dan begitu mudah dipoleskan ke bibir. Formula dari lipstik ini cukup lembut, tidak super matte atau kering yang menyebabkan bibir dehidrasi seperti umumnya lipstick matte. Jika sewajarnya matte lipstick itu kering dan tidak glossy, lipstik matte ini tampak sedikit kemilau, tidak terlihat kering dan berat, sehingga tidak retak di bibir.
Meskipun stiknya terhitung keras dibandingkan dengan kebanyakan lipstik matte yang lembab, namun tekstur Loreal Paris Matte Addiction Lipstik ini sangat halus. Stiknya meluncur dengan mulus saat dipoleskan ke bibir, dan melapisi bibir dengan merata.
